But I just wanna make a concise list yet provide a detailed description for the most important and top rated items you MUST have for your next trip.

Take my advice and enjoy travelling! 😉

1. Autoseal Travel Mug

Contigo Autoseal Travel Mug

Product: Contigo Autoseal Travel Mug

Price: AUD$27.97

Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon.com

Size: 16 oz (473 ml)

My Rating: 4.5 out of 5

This is the most amazing travel mug I’ve ever owned in my entire life.

Why? Well because it is basically a water bottle and a mug thermo bottle at the same time, which is just perfect for coffee addicts like me. Drinks stay hot up to 5 hours and cold up to 12.

Moreover, it is spill proof or autoseal which is basically a technology making the mug leak proof.

Contigo Autoseal Travel Mug is a 473 mil (16oz) and they come in all kinds of cool colors; and now let’s talk about the serious staff and what makes this mug is the real deal.

The seal on it is the best; there is a little lock button which will prevent any leakage if you put Contigo Autoseal Buttonthe mug in your backpack and accidentally start clicking or even if your kids are playing with it.

The other button on the side will trigger the release of the spout, and so basically every time you press that you have to hold it for your coffee or whatever liquid you’ve got there to flow out, and the moment you release that it will stop and will close.

Inside itself it is double wall thick so it’s not just one layer so that’s why it’s able to keep any cold or hot liquid that you have inside.

It’s dishwasher safe but it is not microwavable so do not do that 🙂

Cleaning is a breeze! I love to have everything clean inside out; another awesome feature, which I love about this mug is that you’re able to actually clean the lid and where the liquid (tea, milk…etc.) usually gets stuck.

There is a ‘push to clean’ piece and if you pull that out then that whole piece comes out and you’re able to clean that.

The other mugs I have had got really dirty and I couldn’t clean them properly but with this awesome feature for Contigo I’m able to clean the mug and remove any liquid. It’s a cool feature of this one so do take note of that 🙂

Definitely an awesome and recommended product to take around while you are travelling.

2. Best International Travel Adapter

Jollyfit International Universal Travel Adapter

Product: Jollyfit International Travel Adapter

Price: AUD$19.99 (On Sale Now)

Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon.com

My Rating: 5 out of 5

Jollyfit International Travel Adapter comes with 4 USB ports, AC Power Wall Plug.

You can use it if you are travelling to the US, UK, AU or EU. Pretty much everywhere 🙂Jollyfit International Universal Travel Adapter 2

What I love about this adapter is the quick charge feature available on it’s multiple USB ports; and I’ve tried to charge my iPhone and AirPods and they charged at a very good rate I gotta say. So I believe that this is an awesome feature, which comes pretty handy as you can charge multiple devices off one adapter.

The size of the adapter is small and you can definitely chuck it in your backpack.

I truly wish that I knew about this monster before purchasing a very basic adapter for $40 when I arrived in Australia. Yep! This is what happens when you don’t have a checklist of the things to take in your travels, you get ripped off.

So many times I forget to take an international adapter and end up paying heaps of money on a new one.

Hence why this is a must have accessory for travelling as it is definitely a lifesaver.

So far I love this adapter, had no issues at all and it is the first thing that goes into my backpack.

Absolutely recommend for all the fellow-travellers out there!

Before purchasing the ProCase Travel Gear Organizer, I’ve always struggled to find and pull out different charging cables, SIM cards, SD Cards…etc from my luggage. I think you guys might be able to relate to this struggle.

ProCase Travel OrganizerHowever, this problem is solved now with the ProCase Travel Gear Organizer.

ProCase is a small size storage case with good quality, heavy-duty, and water-resistant nylon and an awesome mix of compartments where you can put all of your chargers, USB Cables, SD Memory Cards, Earphone, photography gadgets…all are in one place.

The stitching is really really strong and holds everything together well.

In addition to that, ProCase has one large zipper pocket for your cell phone, external hard drive, or maybe a power bank, and 2 small zipper pockets for secure storing smaller items.

The case is secured with an elastic strap, which can be used if you’d like to hang the case wherever you want.

4. Best Memory Foam Travel Pillow

Bloodyrippa Best Memory Foam Travel Pillow

Product: Bloodyrippa Ergonomic Travel Pillow

Price: AUD$19.49

Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon.com

My Rating: 5 out of 5

Bloodyrippa Ergonomic Travel Pillow is a memory foam pillow that provides awesome support to your neck with adjustable tightness. This baby is not only awesome for flights but also you can use it if you drive long hours.

Waking up to a sore neck is the worst and this pillow will help in eliminating this feeling big time.

Some of you might ask what the heck is memory foam pillow? well, memory foam pillow rebounds slowly to remember your neck shape (pretty amazing stuff) and it will hold your head in its position providing long-lasting support.

The pillow is very soft when you lean your head and neck against it yet very supportive with high quality memory foam.

And you don’t need to worry about cleaning it, as the cover is machine washable with its easy to use zipper.Bloodyrippa Memory Foam Travel Pillow

In addition to that, there is a pocket for your phone, I don’t like to use it though as I’ve read so many articles not to keep your mobile phones close to your brain. but just wanted to cover all features of this product.

The size of this pillow is pretty small, and it compresses into a small ball (12x12cm), then you can fold it into its integrated carry case. NO INFLATION NEEDED!

Say goodby to neck pain and feel awesome on arrival!

Perfect for travelling, camping, flight trip, train or car, take your comfort to another level. Designed for both Men and Women

Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon.com

My Rating: 5 out of 5

This is an awesome discovery for me as I love swimming and I always need a very absorbent towel which dries quickly.

The title says backpacking but I can tell you that I’ve used this towel for various activities such as Journext Ultralight Backpacking Towel 2swimming, Hiking, Camping, working out in the Gym and it is just fantastic.

What really surprises me about this towel is that it is very thin yet very absorbent, and because of the microfiber technology it dries very quickly. No more wet bags which is brilliant.

Size-wise, it hardly takes any space when you roll it up in its little bag; and it comes in a variety of colours.

6. Travel Laptop Backpack

Matein Travel Laptop Backpack

Product: Matein Travel Laptop Backpack

Price: AUD$41.99

Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon.com

My Rating: 4.5 out of 5

I wanted a travel bag for work and it didn’t come to me to have a backpack, but with the color and design of Matein Travel Laptop Backpack, I was able to find what I was looking for.

This is an anti-theft laptop backpack and it has a USB charging port.

It is water resistant and fits 15.6 Inch laptop – comes in two colors: Grey and Black. I think Grey gives that business professional type of look to the bag.

Lots of pockets you can use for different electronics/accessories and anti-theft pocket on the back if you want to keep your wallet or other valuables.

The built in USB port is very handy to charge your phone while walking, but please note that this backpack doesn’t power itself, you’d need to have your power bank.Matein Travel Laptop Backpack Uses

Almost 3 months now and no dramas so far. There are so many backpacks out there and it can really get overwhelming when choosing one.

But the reason I love the Matein Backpack is that because of its many features and pockets, slim and the fact that it’s not so expensive for a great quality product.

This back pack is ideal for travelling and short business trips as well.

That was a list of top rated items to get you ready for your next trip, let me know if you have any questions about any of the products and I’ll be more than happy to answer.

  1. Hello there, thanks for sharing this wonderfilul information. We all love traveling as its one very cool way to relaxing my mind especially when I’m traveling by air. Traveling is good but traveling with some basic things you’ll need while on travel is better. The idea kd traveling with a water mug and am adapter is most important to me. I’ll make sure I always have it with me before traveling. Best regards.

    1. Hey Chloe, totally agree…traveling is wonderful experience and the excitement of visiting a new place is awesome. and I find it more enjoyable when I pack the right things with me and not forget the essentials as you said.

This definitely saves me time when I arrive to my destination as instead of searching to buy an adapter or a mug…etc I can spend time exploring the place, not mentioning saving money as well.

Glad that you’ve found the information in the post useful and thanks for your comment.

  2. A great set of accessories for travel. And priced reasonably! I was mostly interested in these two:

    (1) The travel adapter. I once paid a substantial price to stay in an old but historically significant hotel. There was only one electrical outlet, yet two cell phones and other needs. We were not happy campers.

    (2) The travel pillow. I often have difficulty sleeping in a new bed, especially with new pillows. I have developed headaches and neck issues. This seems ideal.

A lot of my travel has involved mountain climbing, trails and the like. All of these items seem compact and travel –  ready.

    Thanks for an enlightening article!

    1. Hey Richard,

I’m glad that you found the article useful.

Yep! I totally hear you when it comes to the adapter and how important it is, Nowadays, I reckon we all have multiple devices to charge and we definitely need a universal adapter to charge more than one device at the same time.

I’ve also had horrible pain in my neck after flying long hours (I live in Australia) so you can imagine how long the flights are even to the nearest destination.. 😀 hence why, the pillow is a top priority for me to pack and not forget.

You are right, these items are very easy to squeeze in your backpack as they are small in size..

Thanks for your comment and for dropping by, Richard.

  3. I have to say, it is pretty amazing what everything I was missing til now 😉
I do love travel and I do travel pretty often, so I might really consider to purchase some of the articles you mentioned.

What would be the one out of the list you like the most?

Thanks in advance and thank for making sure I am prepared better for my next journey.

    1. hahaha believe me when we are in a hurry and excited about our trip, we tend to miss packing some of the most important stuff that we would need
but that’s awesome that you found this post a good reminder 🙂

Can I pick two instead of one hahahah 😀 it’s really hard to pick only one…but If I have to, I gotta say it’s the travel mug because I’m addicted to coffee 🙂 I’m actually replying to your comment now while sipping my coffee 😀

Anyways, thanks for your comment, Julius and let me know if you need any assistance whether related to these products or other ones
